The GG Lens Technology
Throughout the sunglass industry there are many different types of lenses. At GG Optix, the majority of our lenses are made with a base of Trivex material. Trivex is a very unique lens material and you only see this technology used in designer brands across the industry.
Many of the Instagram and Facebook advertisements you see for sunglasses are featuring a PolyCarbonate or TAC Lens which are cheap to make and do not provide you with the best protection.
Why Trivex?
- Weighs about 10% less than Polycarbonate lenses
- Less internal lens stress = sharper central vision
- Higher Abbe Value = sharper peripheral vision
- Provides strong impact resistance
- Blocks 100% UV Rays
