GG Optix was born out of a long day at a country concert in Atlantic City. Like any good story, am I right? 

Long story short, a few too many adult sodas led to a headache, drowsiness and a pair of expensive sunglasses lost somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean. 

The next day, before hitting that long drive home in the sun, my brain was hankering for some shade.

What’s the next natural move? Head to the local sunglass store.

While browsing, I discovered it’s impossible to find really good sunglasses at a reasonable price. 

The salesman tells me “Hey you’re really going to like these.” Well, at $300/pair I damn well better like them! 

So I left the store empty handed, dealt with the sun glare on the way home and then began researching what makes sunglasses sooo expensive??
